About
Orieth Institute is a Canadian non-profit research organization, incorporated under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act. Corp. No. 1793648-6. Incorporated May 2026, Vancouver, BC.
Orieth Institute conducts interdisciplinary research at the intersection of technology, human experience, and fundamental inquiry. Current active work centers on AI interaction risk: how patterns of prolonged AI use accumulate into misplaced trust, contextual dependency, and compromised judgment, the risk layer that most safety evaluation does not reach. The Institute’s mandate extends to philosophy, metaphysics, existential studies, and related fields.
All published research is conducted and signed by ZON RZVN (ORCID 0009-0002-6597-7245). The Institute does not claim peer review, external validation, or clinical research status. Formal external collaborations have not yet begun.
Orieth Institute holds membership with GoodStack and TechSoup. Founding Director ZON RZVN holds membership with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE No. 102124292) and the American Psychological Association (APA No. C2505666474).
Founding Director
ZON RZVN is an independent researcher based in Taiwan, working on user-side contextual risk in human-AI interaction.
Coming from a non-traditional background in art, music, and tattooing, ZON entered AI research through self-directed study beginning in late 2024. The transition was motivated by direct observation of how prolonged AI conversation can quietly reshape a user’s cognition, trust, and sense of autonomy — risks that current AI safety frameworks largely overlook.
Since 2025, ZON has published a series of interconnected theoretical preprints addressing this gap: CXC-7 (seven-dimension conversational context framework), CXOD-7 (system-side offense-defense model), USCH (14 observable pattern categories of user-side contextual hallucination), USCI (four-axis post-interaction assessment methodology), and A-CSM (detection framework in development).
All papers are published as open-access preprints on SSRN and Zenodo with registered DOIs. The work is pre-empirical and has not undergone formal peer review or clinical validation. ZON is transparent about this status. Formal validation requires institutional collaboration with qualified professionals across clinical psychology, AI ethics, HCI, and cognitive science — collaboration that Orieth Institute is actively seeking.
ORCID: 0009-0002-6597-7245
Current work: USCP framework, A-CSM classification system, CXC-7 architecture, and I/AI — A Sun Without Witness (film in development). Self-corpus of 3,928 conversations and 215,949 message nodes, August 2024 to April 2026. ORCID 0009-0002-6597-7245
Before research: tattoo artist (ten years), painter, metal vocalist on Asian touring circuit, independent music producer. In early 2024, personally documented 100 pro bono animal communication cases in one month. Research began August 2024 from personal experience at the edge of what AI conversations can do to a person. No academic background, mentor, or institutional support. Full record: rzvn.io
