Corrections and updates

Every correction made to this site since 2026-08-07, with the date it was made and what changed.

Research updates are published quarterly. Each entry covers the methodological decisions and stated limits of that quarter's work. Corrections are published when they are made, not on a schedule.

Correction log

  1. 2026-08-07 — CXOD-7 entry: version DOI corrected to 10.5281/zenodo.17403793. The concept DOI 10.5281/zenodo.17136789 is retained as a separate field.
  2. 2026-08-07 — CXC-7 entry: a claim that an ORCID record showed a Traditional Chinese translation path was removed. All three versions under concept DOI 10.5281/zenodo.17247637 are in English.
  3. 2026-08-07 — Publications page: an author byline and a licence field were added to every record.
  4. 2026-08-07 — Governance page: director of record, full registered office, and business number added. Funding and related party disclosures added.
  5. 2026-08-07 — Zenodo deposits 10.5281/zenodo.17403793, 17403784 and 17247638 were typed as journal article. None has been through journal peer review. Their resource type was corrected to preprint. DOIs are unchanged.
  6. 2026-08-07 — Zenodo deposit 10.5281/zenodo.21346373 was openly accessible with no licence. It is now licensed CC BY 4.0.
  7. 2026-08-07 — A copyright statement asserting all rights reserved sat alongside an open Creative Commons licence on seven Zenodo deposits, which put contradictory rights in their DataCite metadata. The statement was removed. The Creative Commons licence on each deposit governs.
  8. 2026-08-07 — Zenodo deposit 10.5281/zenodo.19097267 declared a code repository that was not publicly reachable. The field was removed. The A-CSM implementation is not publicly released.
  9. 2026-08-07 — Terms: the request-first reuse clause was replaced with an explicit CC BY 4.0 licence for site text.
  10. 2026-08-08 — People page: a line describing animal-communication casework was removed from the background section. It read as a credential on a page whose subject is research qualifications, and it is not one.
  11. 2026-08-08 — Contact, governance, and structured data: references to the director's separate professional practice were removed, along with the related party section describing it. This site now describes the Institute only. The competing-interests declaration for the research remains in the published papers.
  12. 2026-08-08 — Research page: added that the published study does not identify the platform or model version, and what that limits. The site does not name a platform the paper leaves unnamed.
  13. 2026-08-08 — Correcting the 2026-08-07 CXC-7 entry below. That entry said all three CXC-7 versions are in English. They are not: each version deposits a Traditional Chinese file alongside the English one, and so does CXOD-7. The earlier entry was based on the Zenodo language metadata field, which reads eng on all four records and does not describe the deposited files. The language shown for both records has been corrected, and the Zenodo metadata field remains wrong at the source.
  14. 2026-08-07 — People, press, and governance pages: the founding role was stated. The site described the director without recording that the same person founded the Institute, which the ORCID employment record and the USCP declarations both state.
